2025 MERCEDES-BENZ AMG GLC43

every time I get into my vehicle, I have a new malfunction that pops up and when I take it to the dealership they can never find what’s wrong. I have had multiple instances where my screen will turn black and there’s nothing I can do or the screen will freeze, and I can’t figure out how to get it back on. I can’t figure out how to get CarPlay to automatically connect to my phone because the vehicle is so jacked up. It’s been in the shop probably about 13 times since I’ve gotten it last December…

Filed Dec 2, 2025
The vehicle experienced a sudden loss of power while driving on the freeway. The check-engine light began flashing, and the car immediately stopped accelerating. I was in the fast lane at freeway speeds when the vehicle lost power, forcing me to activate my hazard lights and merge into the slow lane to avoid being hit by other vehicles. It felt like the engine was about to stall in traffic, creating a major safety risk to myself and others. Component that failed: The dealer confirmed a…
2024 MERCEDES-BENZ AMG GLC43

The vehicle has an ongoing transmission downshifting malfunction. The powertrain unexpectedly downshifts while driving, causing sudden changes in speed and unstable vehicle behavior. The issue can be inspected at any time, as the defect occurs intermittently and has not been repaired. This malfunction puts my safety and the safety of others at risk because the vehicle can slow down abruptly or shift aggressively without any input from the driver. This can create dangerous situations in…

Purchased vehicle 6-23 from MB West Chester pa. Feb 3-24 I was parked in a lot once I tried to enter the car I was locked out of the vehicle completely 2270 miles on it. I tried to use the key no avail. I had to contact Mercedes to have my car towed to the shop. Once arrived the damage signal came on. I was told taking the car off the tow truck sometimes makes that signal come on. I never understood. Rep stated it was the battery that died. Which the tow truck guy stated it had to be…

2022 MERCEDES-BENZ AMG GLC43

The transmission intermittently shifts hard. When accelerating the car hesitates badly then lurches forward. The Dealer verified the concern, the transmission as a hard shift from 1-2nd. They performed various procedures to the hardware, but ultimately determined the problem is the software and that this is a known issue to Mercedes since early in the year. They have not been able to resolve the software issue. This creates a major safety hazard: 1. When changing lanes, the hesitation…
2021 MERCEDES-BENZ AMG GLC43
Filed Sep 26, 2025
2021 Mercedes GLC 43 headlight is inoperable. Same as reported in campaign 22V261000: Headlight failure can decrease visibility for both the driver and surrounding traffic, increasing the risk of a crash. Although our car was produced before the dates reported in campaign 22V261000, I believe this is the same defect and the recall should apply to all MY 2021 cars as this is a serious safety issue. The dealer will not repair under warranty.
